DESCRIPTION:
Under the Clean Coal FutureGen for Illinois Act, the state of Illinois assumes liability for stored CO2 from the FutureGen project after injection. The liability assumption applies only to the FutureGen project. The state shall also provide insurance for the operators of the project.
