SB 10 exempts sales and use tax on the purchase of anthropogenic carbon dioxide used for enhanced oil and gas recovery projects. The bill also halves the severance tax on fuel recovered using carbon dioxide. The state's severance-tax rate is generally 12.5 percent of the value of the commodity.
